Morning Workout Struggles

This week is my "Recovery" week with Insanity so for the past 3 days I've been doing the Core Cardio and Balance workout.  I haven't had much trouble with it and have enjoyed a rest from a lot of the jumping around, though you definitely still work up a crazy sweat!

This morning however something just was off with me.  Maybe it was because I did an evening workout last night and a morning one this morning.  Maybe it was because I woke up and just wanted to get it done quickly so I didn't pause to drink my Energy and Endurance drink from BeachBody.  Maybe it was because I was up quite late last night.  Maybe it was all of these things but I definitely know I struggled and had to stop way more often than at this point I should need to.

We all have off days but one of the great things about my amazing support group is while I was writing to them about this challenge I stopped and saw the silver lining.  I. GOT. UP., I. PRESSED. PLAY.  I. KEPT. GOING.

I put these in capital letters because the little victories are important too.  Why should I beat myself up so much.  I got less sleep but I still got my butt out of bed at 6am and got my workout in and I finished it.  Yes it wasn't a 100% effort but tomorrow's a new day and I still am proud of every minute I did give it.  It's only guiding me closer to my goals!

Don't be so hard on yourself.  As Tony Horton would say "Do your best and forget the rest" :-)



Certainly one thing that kept me smiling afterwards, was getting to cross off another one of these babies!!

Ohhhhh yeah!!!!
